The Creative Experience
These are drawings that I make with Rotrings. I dont’t sketch, I don’t look for visual references, or look at other artists’ work. I just let myself get carried away by inspiration and draw.
It takes me a long time to finish them, they have a lot of details. Many. But what I am looking for is not the result, but the feeling that drawing generates in me, totally focused on what I am doing, leaving my mind aside and giving my hand to the universe.
I prepare the moment. I put on a special music, and on the board that like a magnet attracts the ink, I lay down the large blank sheet.
In that state of FLOW my thoughts, my emotions and my actions are aligned and in that coherence the creative energy of the universe passes through me and is expressed in the movements of my hand.
What are we thinking?
How are we feeling?
How are we acting?
When our thoughts, our emotions, and our actions align, we feel free. And from that freedom, creativity manifests itself in a very different way than when we try to control it.
Life is a creative process, not a result.
What are you going to create?
Creativity
Each work is one time experience.
Originality & freedom
We must not all be the same, we must not paint in the same way, write with the same style, sing with the same intonation, on the contrary, our task is to allow our originality to emerge from between the chains of judgments and limitations so it can shine its own light.
When our own light shines we can illuminate the darkness of others.
